Q6700 @ 3.2 GHz @ Stock voltage@ 400x8 , Gskill mem @ 1066MHz

16 seconds pi 1M
Temps: idle: 46, Load: 70 (hours of burn on all cores)
Cooler: thermalright 120 extreme + 2x scythe
3dmark: 13560 w/8800GT @700/2000

cpu running too hot? its pissing me off... the thermalright doesn't fit good on the evga 680i.. i'm thinking of slapping a water cooler on this
since the cooler is so heavy it was coming off the cpu so I had to do a little mod.. now the bastard doesn't bend down



edit: when gaming the temps hover around 55 and 57 for crysis which runs on all cores

the only thing stopping me is the temp...

@driveraider: its 20$ new lol ... the reason why i am hesitating to sell it is that it brings up the price of my 7900

ok so I took the true off and saw a river of ceramic paste lol ... replaced with AS5 (has one "serving" of it) and put it back on VERTICALLY and amazingly the temps went down by almost 15 degrees ahahaha

next time I buy "pre built" parts i'm gonna make sure I open it up myself and put it back together.. i just got lazy with it before
