Hey i've been having trouble getting my mic to work

I got a new one and for about a month it worked now the mic it self doesn't wanna seem to work not sure what more i can do

as far as the sound (hearing) that works great.

Whats weird is when i plug in my old headphones and mic they work fine (but not anymore cord and microchip are shot)

Help?
