The fact that Modern Warfare 2 raked in obscene amounts of money basically made a third entry in the franchise a forgone conclusion, but it turns out Activision Blizzard's counter-lawsuit against fired Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella also made it official: Modern Warfare 3 is already in development. The bad news for gamers is the legal dispute, according to Activision, is delaying the project's pre-production. In their counter-suit, Activision claims that West and Zampella (before they were fired) were intentionally delaying the pre-production of Modern Warfare 3 in order to use it as "leverage in their negotiations with Activision" (via Kotaku). Activision also says in the case that the duo's alleged secret meetings with their "closest competitor" (almost certainly Electronic Arts) contributed to the delays, and that "as a direct and proximate result of this breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, Activision has been forced to commit additional resources to Modern Warfare 3."
In a statement released shortly after the counter-suit was made public, Robert Schwartz, West and Zampella's attorney, called Activision's allegations "false and outrageous."
As for Modern Warfare 3, we all know Activision intends to release a new Call of Duty every year, with this year's version rumored to be set during the Vietnam War. That would likely put Activision's desired release date for Modern Warfare 3 in 2011, assuming whatever current delays that may or may not be taking place don't push it off too much.

yeah, but as far i can see, you havent played the SP of MW2, theres nothing in that movie that is of MW2, yes @ the end of it!!

Dude, aint no way that was made by a fan Its all over the net about MW3 comming next year If they can be called fans, I would guess Jason West and Vince Zampella have something to do with this trailer

I myself dont see a need to buy a new cod game every year just because they make one Cod2 rocks, 4 was ok, MW2 is semi good cod, cod3 and 5 all suck ass No more for me unless its proven to be a good game like cod2 Like 5-6 years and people still play, thats what a game should be about, not fork out $60 every year.....

Ok i'm gonna clear all the doubts for you noobs..
The vid is just a bunch of vids taped together.. mostly from other games, you can see mw1 bad company 2, mw2, crisys 2 and a shit load of conosole games.. like army of 2.
It is Fan made.
Jason West and Vince Zampella are no longer with Infinity Ward and as of Right now they do not own the Call Of Duty franchise, anme or anything.
The new studio named Respawn, is working on something totally new.
Its just a guy who took a lot of vids and put em together, that's it.
