Hey lads,

I am having a quad core processor but only 3 of them are showing in task manager, and even better - when i try msconfig to enable my 4 processor, it only shows 3. I am running windows 7 ultimate x64, And have bin looking up forums to see whats wrong but i cant understand what it is. Anything I should be changing in my bios? Please help me out on this one!

hehe:P sounds so easy when you say it, Like i have to find out the type and such to find it on the developers website or something? I already flashed it but yet no result. So ? Sorry for me being such a nub on these kind of things lol.

Im not sure of what you want it but i am guessing its cpu and motherboard so here it goes.

CPU :
-AMD Phenom 2 x4 945
-codename : Denab
-Brand id : 13
-package: socket am3 (937)
technology 45 nm
Specification AMD phenom(tm) x4 945 processor
-Family F, Model 4, stepping 2, ext family 10, ext model 4, Revision RB-C2

Something says, instructions.. MMX(+), 3DNow!(+), SSE( 1m2m3m4a)m x86-64, AMD-V

clocks coreL
Core speed, 30515.5 MHz
multiplier x15.0
bus speed 200.9 MHZ
ht link 2009.0 MHz
cache:
l1data 3x64kb 2way
L1 inst. 3x64kb 2way
level 2: 3x512 kb 16way
level 3 6 mb 48 way
then again, below in my screen it says cores 3, threads 3..

Motherboard:
Manufacturer: ASUSTeK Computer INC.
Model M4A78LT-M-LE .. Rev X.0x
Chipset: AMD 780G Rev. 00
Southbridge AMD SB700
LPCIO: ITE IT8712

Bios: Bran American Megatrends Inc.

Graphic interface: version PCI-Express

If you are missing any specifications or information, please tell me.

Alright, first of all my special thanks to genius and heartsfan. Apreciated the help. It is sorted.
What seemed to be the problem was the fact that in my bios there seemed to be an option to
select the ammount of cores.. which is default on auto.

genius showed me this video.. for anyone who might have a simular problem. And it worked out great.
