no trust me its fine its just the temp sensors are fucked on the 45nm. my e6850 ran idle at like 19-20 and my e8400 was "stuck" at 30/33, it lies.

e8400 @ 4ghz and 4870 should get you 16000+

Got my new Q6600 G0 Oc'ed to 2.7 ghz stable. anything over 1200 FSB causes lockups on BIOS post. then i have to reset CMOS to get back into my BIOS settings. Vcore is at 1.312v i cant get anything to boot above 2.7ghz. this is my score with GPU oc'ed to 780mhz core 1000mhz mem. i need to figure out why my Q6600 wont go above 2.7 but all in all im quite pleased with the 3dmark06 scores.

ccc is limited but i am having some problems with 3dmark, even at stock speeds it is like glitching at times.  i managed to put off a slightly overclocked run.  pretty good score really need to find out what the problem with the glitching is.

what drivers are you using?

i am using catalyst 8.7 drivers.  they are not beta anymore.  i think they just need to refine the 4850 drivers.  rivatuner also needs to add support for them.

yea maybe immature, i expected a bit more than 14k with a 4ghz e8400.

i am only getting 3670 cpu points.  i though 14000 was pretty good for one card.  i though 16000 with cf would be good.  really hope they get it all worked out.  was reading something about needing to flash the bios on 4850s, something about powerplay not working.  i ready dont want to get into that if i dont have to.  dont really know if mine was one of the new 4850's or the older ones.  i have the asus eah4850.

i got a 4870. im using the hotfix drivers with ccc. with an oc of like 790 / 1850. fan speed at 40% with temps around 50-60c idle-load. 100% fan speed stays around 50c the whole time(but sounds like a vacuum cleaner >.<). also i used the AMD GPU Clock tool to set the OC then used CCC to make a new profile(with the OC set by AMD GPU tool) to change the fan speed.
