Hello everybody!
Lately I've had a disturbing things and yesterday it get me really angry, couldnt play goddamn scrim thanks to Windows Vista being crazy. Lately when playing CoD 4, CoD 5, Fallout 3 etc, games suddenly sometimes crashes or loses an internet connection. CoD 5 starts and then tells me that exe stopped working. CoD 4 stops working after few minutes of game. I am tired of reinstalling and I think the mess is in Windows Vista system files... Though, my keyboard doesnt work in BIOS, so I cant get in the disc and do the repair option.. Anybody any ideas how to repair Windows Vista, please? Would be really awesome to get it all done and back to gaming with kicking scrims.

I cant uninstall Vista or do big manipulations with it. My mom uses it for work, there's plenty of data and configurations I have to keep and I cant have computer out of order , mom needs it urgently often

tell her to get her own pc . and i have no idea how to help because i just installed vista myself but havent tried to play any games yet

Ok I managed to run the games more or less without crashing.. But there's one thing that just PREVENTED me from playing goddamn scrim against NS. The game runs ok a few minutes, then I get a connection interrupted for 10-30secs, 5 secs play and again and all this time in round. Then it gets relaxed for a minute and again... I cant play scrims and CoD 4 itself with this hell. Somebody some idea? I've run a total system virus and malware check, reinstalled CoD 4.. Idk what now

Look = I've used internet whole time surfing net etc before I came on CoD 4 as Majid told to come for scrim. I've tried diff internet games as Frozen Throne battlenet and everything was all right.. Whole net was all right. Though once I ran the CoD 4 and played few minutes, the connection interrupted nonstop appeared, so I've closed the game then... Now, whole internet is crappy. I am using a Modem connection 1mb/s

its nothing about vista thats your problem.

Nope I am not using wireless. Well, I have no idea what it can be. I am running a special Vista thing in bios that is checking my system for errors etc. I've took a look on internet with people's topics about CoD 4 often connection interupted, but it all was for xBox or PS3, but I use PC...Need to find a way how to fix it =s No CoD 4 is kind of a half of fun out from afterschool time.

many of us use vista, and have 0 problems.

So I've got ridd of everything and uninstalled Mumble. What I figured out ? Mumble was cause for CoD 4 crashing and connection mess lol... Well, since I am kind of back with whole CoD 4 play, there's a problem though... If Mumble caused it, I wonder how I am about to get it all working, so I can use a mumble with it for scrims if I get invited =S

lol did you read the mumble tutorial? you have to turn off overlay. and turn down your settings if youre comp cant handle it
