Network problems, anybody feel smart ?

So here comes the short story i'm having problems with
I got
1 desktop pc, vista ultimate LAN
1 laptop pc, vista home or something wireless
Both on same router

They're both setup in the same workgroup called WERKGROEP (in dutch) and private network
They can see one another on the network ALL THE TIME
I got shared files on both computers with ALL autorizations for ALL computers or whatsoever
But desktop can't enter laptop and laptop can't enter desktop >> SOMETIMES (rarely it does)


Sometimes i can browse in to the laptop files trough desktop & otherwise but then the copy (connection) speed is very BAD (2-3mb/sec)
What really bothers me that i can't figure out why that "sometimes"
it's really random working ... when he feels like it, it works & otherwise it doesn't ....

Any solutions ? ? ?

tried all that, it's the basics .... doesn't work like i explained, it just randomly works ... and mostly doesn't

Try disabling UAC, Antiviruses and Firewalls.
