tru, i dont need that much, but my graphics card is fast enough, so i thought WTH, maybe i'll need it next year, end instead of buying 4 x 1gig, i have 4 x 2gig, cause otherwise i would have to buy 4 new chips of ram, and it can always come in handy!! ! LOL

I think that with a ammount of ram a AMD processor will be happy because of the integrated memory controller, on intel you wont notice so much diference.
