Why crack might be hard?

As the installer stops you installing the game before a certain date due to SecuROM you can bet that...

1 - SecuROM needs access to the internet after the given date to download a few more lines of code to complete the installation.

2 - The SecuROM server will resolve IP's and won't let you install the game in your country until the release date.

As the release dates are either 21st or 24th we MIGHT see a fully cracked version tomorrow that works in all locations.  But I thinik you're just better chilling out and not expecting a fully working release until Friday

Just to inform you all.
Game uses no paul.dll and the whole system seems to be completely different.
At the moment i'm kinda confused about it.
Creates temporary files like "matroschka_launcher.exe","FarCry2_activation.exe" (aka "SecuROM Matroschka Unpacker"),"TGT7C.tmp","Alf.dll"(original name: "DFADecoderDlg.dll"),"DFA.dll".
"DFADecoderDlg.dll"(alias "Alf.dll") seems to be the key.
Looks like it is there to uncrypt the 1 tmp file, because start of that file begins with "SDFA".
Sadly i'm not quite shure how it decodes that temporary file
Sadly the release-date-check seems to be loaded even before FC2.dll(paul.dll) gets loaded.
Guess i won't be able to crack it that fast.

This same shit was found on Bioshock

Ubisoft is a publisher and developer with lots of studios... One of here in Canada (Montreal) which made my favorite game; Prince of Persia series
