Need for Speed Shift

i dont like to play race games on a pc, i think its best to play on a console, but i'm trying need for speed shift atm, and its a bit like GT on the ps1 and 2 and not hard to control, so i like this game on the pc, anyone else tried it yet ??? its really realistic when you drive in a car view, and the graphics aint to bad at all!!

It's called a controller, and yes, I do know that.  I tried to configure it for COD4 recently, but still working....if anyone has a good guide :)  send it on over!

fyi i did hack up an original xbox gamepad to use on my pc for driving games :D

if you are talking about a totally different thing other than the 360 controller :)

I am trying to get my controller to work on PC so I can play COD4 with it.  Since i will be playing competitively on COD MW2 for 360.  I am on a team and we are playing a little for prep:)  I will still play PC even if my controller doesn't work right, I still play :)

yeah i know, but i dont have it, but you control it with the arrow keys!! pretty simple, but i do gota get 1 of those someday!!

actually the best possible experience is on pc with the Logitech G25 wheel + 6 speed H shifter <3 That's what I use to play Shift and DiRT2 :D

Actually, the default G25 profile in the game is shit.  It has a terrible dead zone at center and on straights the cars snake from one side to the other.  You can get some decent ffb settings if you tweak the xml.. a lot.

Agreed, the default config is fairly bad. This helps a lot though: http://www.virtualr.net/need-for-speed-shift-real-mod-2-0-released/ .. it gives you a GTR2 like feeling (which is the ultimate simulator next to LFS)
