ATI 4770, 4870, 4890... may consider nvidia gtx260 or similar.

Werth Im havin a look around for a new video card too, something 8x AGP, any suggestions?
I was lookin at Radeon HD 4650, Radeon HD 3650, Radeon HD 4670, Radeon HD 2600XT, cant really find a good nvidia 8x agp card thats over 512 ddr2 or ddr3

honestly man, the difference between 7800 agp and the best agp is not much. 3650 is probably worse, 2600 is worse... you might benefit a little from a 4650/4670 or 3850, but not much. then again youre paying like $100 for one. i would stick with the 7800 until you go pci-e. that means new board, cpu, and ram though.
youve pretty much maxed out a 478/agp board.

Get the NVidia GTX 280, 1GB. It's like $240 on New egg if that seems a bit to much for you then get the NVidia 9800 GTX for around $130 on Newegg. Your choice.

I was just giving out suggestions, it was directed to both of you =D. Unless you have some really good cooling and 700+ power supply don't get the GTX 280. :)
Even though you found one i still think knott needs one ;D

Waste of money it's going to be like $300 in about a month in a half and not to mention they are going to end up releasing the NVIDIA GTX 300 series soon anyways

see how is this not better than my 7800 GS OC? from 256mb to 1gb ddr2 i think this would be a good investment altough its fuckin ATI trash
