These are just some vids of REAL LIFE addictions their are also articles, their is an article which states that 40% of all WoW players are ADDICTED. I say leave WoW. Your paying 20$(just now, 50$ when it first came out) to buy it, + additional 70$ for the expansion(*note* new expansion coming: wrath of the lich king, so basically another 50-70$ expansion), and you also pay 15$ a month, so in total your paying over 200$ a year to play ONE computer game. Could that 200$+ not go into better things? Now some people say their not addicted, which is true, but alot of people are in-denial. In one of the videos, it seems like a parody of the other ones(one with the fat guy with red hair) but the chinese economy did indeed fall, and also their are restrictions on how long people can play.

So in conclusion, WoW is very addicting, it interferes with your personal and professional life. It also saps money from your wallet(200$+ per year!). It also can cause behavioral issues such as anger. You may lose yourself within the game, blow off your friends, girlfriend/boyfriend, family, to play a computer game.

So I would like to know why you play World Of Warcraft, and how long and or how long you have played in a day or week.

fags, i generally go on WoW "splurges" where it's basically the only game i play for a month or 2, then i get bored and switch to something else(like cod2). and i paid $20 for it new, and $20 for the expansion. game came with 60 days free. but why's it matter? it's cheaper than me dumping thousands into my cars, cheaper than me dumping thousands into my computer...cause that's what i'd probably do instead of video games. I work 8-10 hours a day with sitting in traffic 2-4 hours. i need something to relieve stress, and games do that for me. I still take the ol lady out, play games with her, etc. Just cause xfire says i'm playing doesn't mean im actually at my computer.

PS. It's not just wow that can be addicting, it's all video games, including COD2/4. Some Korean dude died from Starcraft...

WoW is the most addicting game of the world, there was something on tv, that there some1 did research of addiction under online gamers, and they found out that WoW was the most addicting 1, cod is also in the top 10 of most addicting games!!!

i wonder if that was a ratio like addicts to players for that game. or if it was just the most addicts, which would make sense since it's the most played

In most cases, WoW is more addictive then Smoking...It provides a certain lift in personality and attitude.....I play WoW for a various number of reasons, sadly addiction is one of them...in one of those videos some kid said that he plays WoW because it adds a certain social fix that he has missed out on.....Now, thats a bit extream, if your looking for people to socialize with, try stepping outside the fuckin door......as for the constant rag's on WoW, its overall a good game, making a whole lot more money then any of you here 10million+ players 15$ a month, do the fuckin math....

WoW has become its own generation, and this game is deemed to go far, with WOTLK (Wrath of the Lich King) being released in November, and 2 more expansions expected after that, WoW is most likely going to be around for the next 5-10 years....
