4 GHz on air. (TR Ultra 120 Extreme)  No real stress test.. but no problems so far after about an hour of COD4.  We'll see how stable it is.

A story. A man fires a rifle for many years. and he goes to war. And afterwards he comes home, and he sees that whatever else he may do with his life - build a house, love a woman, change his son's diaper - he will always remain a jarhead. And all the jarheads killing and dying, they will always be me. We are still in the desert.

No, it cooled down by the time I took the pics.  It was 58-59 under load.  Here are the idle temps:

Make sure you disable all enhanced CPU features. (Speed Step, C1E, TM2...)  Also set your PCI freq to 100.  Here are my Bios settings: (running 2.2v on the RAM and 1.5v on the CPU)

I dont understand how you guys get away with such low voltages. Nearly all the 6850 on OC forums are 1.55+

I have the same exact. (2x1gb)  You can run it at 2.2v without voiding your warranty.  I saw some reviews online where it performed better than the ocz 8500 when overclocked.  I haven't had much luck getting my settings any tighter than 4-4-4-12.

Btw, how do you like Vista x64?

Btw, I enabled Speed Step, C1E, TM2 since they weren't affecting the oc, and help keep the CPU cooler at idle.

Actually the mem is supposed to be rated at 2.0-2.1v, but the mobo is detecting it as a 1.8v.  (thanks for pointing that out.  I didn't bother to check)  So I just changed the DDR2 overvolt to +0.4 and the mobo is reading 2.2v.  With this I'm able to run the mem at 1000MHz (8x500 instead of 9x446)  Sweet.
