Here is the server the currently run:
208.167.244.216:28960
There are 2 of them, they are a brand new start up clan like us, and they have no problem with donating. One member used to be admin at UAN, and is good with server cfg's and shit, the other is good with forums & etc.
Here are the things they want to see changed before they merge with us.
1. increase walk speed to 110, stock is 100(i agree that the stock speed is just a tad to slow.) 2.remove smoke ( thats fine with me, as we have the smoke killcam/glitch anyway, and removes the need to call out smoke hack :) 3.make the mp40 NOT THE MP44, the same as the tommy, meaning same firing rate, so basicly you will have a tommy for american and german even though it looks like a mp40
you can connect to there server to see what i mean about the mp40 being the same as tommy.
They will be taking on our tags NoBS|, with a *R for recruit period, which with these guys wont last long as they are both good players and will earn there keep around the server.

one if we do this it will fuck us over for twl thats a no no if they wanna merge then they have to keep our server like it is now

well not really, your taking it way to far, skill is skill thats all there is to it. increasing the speed by 10 is not ganna effect us.
chaning the mp40 may, but how often does anyone use that in a match?
so i think it wont matter like you think.
I mean our body damage, fall damage etc are different than TWL so your telling me thats ganna fuck us up?

really no one uses the mp 40 for matchs if your german you would use the mp 44 if you wanted a mg

well guys i know this is more of for u guys to decide but just to say i had the prob when i used to admin of people saying that the thompson used to overpower the americans and all so i just went and modified the mp40 on the german side so its evens out so they actually have a fast mg with a decent amount of bullets that will keep up to almost all the sides the 44 is a good gun yea but for some people it just dosent shoot fast enough but give it a try

oh ya i forgot, either way you can pick a tommy, no matter what team you are, cuz our weapon selection is one from each team

Right now I think we should focus on getting our server finalized. I think our primary goal at this point should be to get everything running as it should and to start attracting new players. I don't think that now is the right time for a merge. I think we should wait and see how everything pans out.

On some game types you need smoke. You expect people to run out in the open to plant? Take it out for DM style of games but not plant type. I am indifferent on CTF. I just think without smoke you are encouraging camping because without the veil of smoke no one is going to move.

as mentioned, you can pick the tommy for either team.. so thats cool im not too sure how much a diff 10 is gonna make on walking, but i wouldnt mind. pit said it well with the smoke
