(http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/9325/stupidfg2.gif)   linux and osx fanbois: vista is not meant to run on your 4 year old computer.. get over it

vista sucks donkey nuts... I have a good pc and it is not that it runs slow on my computer... it feels like a plastic toy compared to XP which can be viewed as a solid metal toy ...

I used vista for 4 months and I am GLAD I delete it... Unless you are filthy rich and have like 4GB ram, fukin 512MB gfx and 4 GHz cores running under water you should stick to XP.

well this is my entire POINT.

4gb ram costs $40. 4ghz cpu costs $200 3ghz cpu costs under $100. 512 gfx card costs under $150.

TIMES CHANGE GET WITH IT....

i agree though, if youre still using a p4 1.8, 512 ram, stick with xp.

same goes for a cellery 500mhz, 128 ram, stick with 98

I agree with most the video, but more crashes?

are you kidding me? 100x more stable than xp (depending on your knowledge of how to actually setup a os)  Stock install vs Stock install, vista will be more stable 100% of the time.

Werth hit the nail on the head, get over it!  With todays games, crysis being the new standard, you need to upgrade anyway. Now I will share the key to saying upgraded with you. Youll have to dish out some cash in the beginning, but over time is where you really save. Upgrade your PC to nice stats, then 3-5 months start upgrading part by part as prices, drop, keep a steady pace of replacements coming in, and your still not that old stuff going out, youll be able to keep upgrading at a low cost $15-50 a part. Seems better than spending $300 on a video card.

its all about watching the deals.

Anywho, vista isnt perfect, BUT if linux/mac has as many users at vista, it would be shit to!

Though I am afraid of Vista (or any other microsoft products), you are right

More users = More feedback
