Well here is the GL launcher poll so that we can at least get clear on what the rule is and avoid having different rules enforced by different admins. For those unaware of the problem, on open maps (such as Countdown) the Gernade Launcher option allows a player to mass spawn kill by shooting it at the opposing teams starting spot before they can move.
The rule would encompass only Search and Destroy game type and only within the first 15 seconds giving everyone time to move from the spawn area.

Yes because they have to have time to aim, change to GL and then fire it, which all takes awhile. Just run a different route :)

I have voted no, but my opinion is well known. Indy it doesn't take that long and I have seen as many as 10 people die to a single GL at spawn

i voted yes, its part of the map im sure the developers know about it.. im more worried about air strikes at start of map on spawn and heli

I have to agree with the AS and Chpoppers being blocked as well -- Some maps you cannot move from spawn. most people respect the rule, and undestand it -- because they dont like having it done to themselves.
I have been victim of not being able to miove and boom GL at spawn wiped 10 of us.
I have also used AS to take out 15 people just after spawn. (as well as had the roles reversed)
This is all part of the game-- but its easily enforced 95% of the non-clan members tell people if they do it (not knowing we have been pushing the rule).
We do get a few that bitch about it. But when you are surronded by people saying -- fruck off, because they dont like.. they tend to fall in line.

One rule at a time. Airstrike and choppers are not so easily accessible, you can't get an airstrike perk so not everyone can do it, or have multiple people doing the same thing. They also don't happen every single round so it is less of a nuisance. IMO the rule should be GL and that is all.

GL/RPG -- RPG tho less accurate can be used on the "Crash" map to take out just about the whole opposing team

Its not that GL is really bad or anything but its really like spamming genades only this is able to reach the base in the beginning. Moreover, Most user of this strat are annoying. and sometimes taking a lot of player out. really piss ppl off...

if you know set nades, there really isnt much of a difference. i take the 3x frag nades usually just for this purpose. dont really see the difference

The difference is you can't throw a nade clear across a board, I have tried to throw a nade from spawn at Countdown to the other spawn it, or at least I couldn't, get it more than halfway. It is quite easy with the GL.

I can get a grenade to the spot where more then half the team runs to, and thats right by the spawn. It works perfect, and gives me like 4-6 kills right off the bat.

Indeed, but that is a matter of route, if they didn't run there you wouldn't be able to kill them. You have no choice but to spawn were you do.

i care just about GL.strike and chopper are OK not all ppl can use them at once besides takes some kills before you get a one.and happens alot that ppl gets a strike or chopper coz they tube!!!
and it was me who said about 15 seconds rule in S&D maps.just to make things clear.i did that coz i care about ppl that are enjoying the server.not some nubs exploits GL all the time. i dont think block strike and chopper will be ok coz i think it will suck,even if it just S&D.i want just GL ban for 15 seconds.

i voted no because that sux it is so annoying...but the AS and heli.....i agree with that.....that is just part of the game and it is no t so eazy to earn it so i think the better thing we should do is make a 10-15 secs spawn protection....i have seen ppl that just stays on the spawn and killing the whole team....that is BS i was with devvil and F#"~k damn BS you just appear and bummmm someone kills you or send an AS or the damn heli stay there and make the spawnkiller noob have a great score BS....and also i think i need the RCON 'cause always when i play and grid isnt there ppl start using nubtubes or GL....there is nothing i can do.....it is so frustrating :(
