Dude, if i had spent $1,500 instead of the $400 i did to build my rig i would have an intel quad Q6600, 2x Nvidia 8800 GTS (g92) in SLI, a couple terabyte hard drives, and about $100 left.

reply i will sell you my rig for $1000.00 which is like 750 of you dollars. core 2 duo e6400 2gb mushkin ddr2 800 4-5-4-11 p5n32sli se deluxe 8800gts dvd burned and cd burner 750 watt psu 8 80mm fans artic cooler freezer 7 dont know what kind of case but very sturdy case and looks good too.

you are a noob, you threw away $1,500. i couldve had a beastly rig for that. for $400 i can play cod4 with all settings on high at 110 fps+ and crysis with medium and high settings at 50+ fps. Uber fail.

I just replaced my Processor and graphics card. so the $1000 processor i got for 270 and then $330 Gcard i got for 250. FTW

I plan on trying to get my Quad core to 5 ghz stable. I had it go up to 4.2 no problem, then at 4.4 ghz it said some wierd BIOS error. Must be i need to update it.

i doubt you can get to 5ghz.... really doubt.. over 4 maybe. thats a nice video card, now you just need a good monitor to take advantage

What monitor would you recommend? i was thinking about getting the 22 in Samsung at work that we have. I just dont like Widescreen monitors. I'd rather have a normal 22 in.

they dont make normal 22 inch afaik.. i highly doubt you'll find any monitors non-widescreen now... with the exception of a few <19... yea theres some nice sammy 22"

widescreen is the way to go anyway especially if you watch movies on your pc. plus it gives you that extra desktop space.
