Post by: heartsfan on January 06, 2009, 08:45:14 PM: Chipped my wii myself last year when I bought it ..... best ?50 I ever spent .... downloaded over 100 games now. For anyone that is getting it chipped or using the softmod .... remember to use good quality DVDs. And if downloading SSBB use only Verbatim Dual Layer Discs.

And remember ... the softmod can cause cutscenes to be jerky or slow as it doesnt speed up the drive like a chip.

SSBB was good but got tired of it. lol.
