They look kinda weird like your gonna have 2kg on your head. Are they really as revolutionary as the praise? I doubt it. Maybe a improvement from the medusa stuff or the razer 5.1. I went from 5.1 headphones to stereo with a good sound card and I can tell just as good where the sound is coming from.

I also ditched a set of "surround" headphones for nice stereo headset. (Sennheiser PC350)
I've been curious about these headphones since the first time I saw them and actually $300 is not insane for a pair of high end cans. Plus if blasting a real 5.1 system is not an option for you (like if you live in an apartment or have a wife, etc..) these might be worth the money.
They rape you with the shipping though, unless you're a dirty canadian :P

oh ya a nice pair of senn's would be sweet. these have their own amp, and apparently they ARE actually good, ie. not a cheapo 5.1 pair.
It's out of my league now.. fuckin calgary company charging in USD :P so that $300 is now $360 CAD +tax shipping $400. Though Suncor just bought petro can and the oil sands will be back on so im sure our dollar will be back up! :D
ill hold off for now, but this is something i can def see kuato getting. send those senns up here while youre at it eh ;)

They sent out an email to those who pre-ordered saying that they pushed back the launch date by about 8 weeks. I think they were supposed to be out mid April.

Sennheiser are my all time favourites .. have the gaming ones for home and portable cx300 for ipod (I got mugged last week and they took these from me :( :( including my iphone :()
