irc fails ;) been there some times but theres no beep* that tells you when someone speaks. and ive im there u are all afk. just like last time. you asked me to come on irc. nobody whas there except AFK smitty and evil and you so wtf is the point of irc?

and we will.........if you have rcon you have to be in irc as much as possible, so that ppl see we are in and complain bout hackers, and if you aint willing to do that, then you dont rcon to, simple is that.

lmao comon staff/rcon dudes im in more than use lol and im not even liked :P
If your java fucks up dont use it as it does eat a shit load of cpu power use Mirc/X-chat its alot better, look in the Tutorials (What is IRC, and how do I set it up?) and if your still stuck setting it up post where your stuck at as it is easy to use when you get used to it (fryed my head the first time to lol)

ok let me say this about IRC, its fun to chat with eachother, but when some1 needs an admin in a server IRC sucks balls, cus i hear no BEEP BEEP when some1 calls me, but with xfire i can hear that, and i dont want to get out off the game each to time to check for a message!! like i said its fun for chat but not for rcon stuff!!

xfire rules still. It shows me the half transparent icon with message when I'm playing something, so I'm always capable of answering. This way I'm kicking 20+ scripters on server, because 2 guys keep me informed :D

there are more and more ppl using irc every day so why not start, plus for the beep beep xchat does beep beep when your name is said and it flashes. and for danglez if irc freezes on you its time for a new pc as its lite and dont eat alot :P Its not that hard to Ctrl Alt and delete when in a game just like you have to F12 and V for X-fire i think its that.

no, if you are ingame with xfire you press scrolllock x for message, and irc you have to go back to windows, and that sucks.....
