Title: *New All Weapons Server*

So yesterday after the cod2 match and a couple scrims me and Evil decided to put up an all weapons server for Call of Duty 2. Its up and running atm and is currently running in Illinois as:
S&D no mod no smoke stock weapons carentan & toujane 24/7 - we can add dawnville and burgandy if it becomes a hit and players suggest a map change 26 clients, 4 private 13 Rounds per map 4 min timelimit max ping 150 - no mexicans hopefully
This server is basically setup like a match server but no mod and all S&D gametype. Good practice server for people who love s&d and a good pub! Help populate this server, its legit, its in the main cod2 server browser, please idle if you can or spam the shit out of it, thanks!

Ok as a few people have been playin on the server there have been a few suggestions already, such as adding the PAM Mod, and making the map rotation mp_carentan, mp_toujane, mp_burgandy, mp_dawnville and maybe mp_trainstation if we add the mod that means people have to download the mod in order to play thus probably less people connecting to the server. but if pam is enabled it would make for better gameplay better players and make our server look more professional than stock. just throwin these ideas up in the air.

the whole idea of adding this all weapons server was to make it easy to populate with the main cod2 server browser thats in game. i figured if theres no mod to download, people arent force to download anything hence making the server more connectable. if i add pam people have to download shit and it becomes a pain in the ass. most of the good players that are left in cod2 now play in the CTAN 24/7 server owned by NOOB CREW which is a rockin pub simply becuase its stock and is carentan, good pub map.

just fix the right rotation for the moment, let it run a while and see the "succes" if needed you can always changed to pam

At least a no-dust mod would be nice. I have a slow computer, and the dust kills me. Plus I get all squinty-eyed trying to look across Toujane and it gives me a headache lol.
Honestly the download for just that would take about one second, I don't think it would turn most people away. Especially with the lack of decent servers these days. I don't imagine that many people filter out all modded servers in the browser.

Seriously. I use the in-game browser because connecting to games through xfire for mac is shoddy at best (even if I did have anyone on my friends list anyway), and list of populated servers that i ping under 100 to is usually about 10-15 max. And that's during peak hours.
As long as you don't put a bunch of retarded eXtreme+2.949898302 wiLd-wEapOnS 500Mph mods that turn CoD2 into Quake: WWII Edition, it'll probably be ok.

Seriously though, eXtreme mods can s my d. I don't get what everybody's beef is with regenerating health. The simpler the better. Picking up health packs is for pussies.
