Don't take what other people say ....... its great. If you liked other GTs then its amazing. Granted the standard cars aren't the same quality as the premium ones but I haven't noticed a lot of the stuff folk are moaning about. I think a lot of the quality of the standard cars are down to their shitty TVs (sharpness maybe too high), I have a Sony Bravia and have it at 1080p and they all look great .... even the cars folk say are poor.

There are some niggles like the paint shop ..... you only get a colour when you buy a car and you can only use it once without buying the car again. And the AI is poor but then its always been bad on GT.

Am loving it.

Get episodes from liberty city.. its 2 DLC packs in 1 set.. its kinda more of the same gta4, same city just diff characters and story lines

Yes its ok i suppose ... had it for the PS3 since it was released still not finished it. About 75% throught though. I dont think its as good as Vice City or San Andreas.

Lol i played em all.. San Andreas just had so much shit to do.. buy businesses, gym and shit.. GTA4 was about telling a story.. Episodes is kinda awesome, cus stories are way more funny and less predictable.

Ok i seriously dont get why people rated this game so high, thank god i downloaded it.  Here are my rants, cus i know you all care!!!

I have to say, this game had incredible potential, but after playing it on the PC for 2 days, i have to say that the execution was horrible, and it does not come close to deserving the high ratings it got.

1. Look at the original Hot Pursuit... there was a well made game. Cops had to pull you over by cornering you, not this stupid ramming/damage crap. But hey, thats cool... its fun to beat other cars up. However, this is where the game is hugely flawed:
- I have smashed cars head on and it does like 50% damage to them... they should be totaled. But when I give them a little love tap from behind when they're almost done, they suddenly FLY off the road
- I'm right beside a racer, trying to push him off the road. We both go off the road and hit the guardrail divider at the start of a shortcut. My car gets totaled and he should have too... except he drives off with NO extra damage. WTF?
- I get EMPed or whatever driving in a straight line, and suddenly i spin out of control... wtf? that doesn't make any sense. But hey, i'm cool with that too.... except when I do it to other people (or when a helicopter spike strips someone and i'm 2 seconds behind them) I CANT EVEN CATCH UP. After having all 4 tires mangled, or their car EMPed they recover within half a second like nothing ever happened.. thats stupid.
-Oh, or how about road blocks - Racer PLOWS the roadblock and totals his car.... i'm right behind him. Suddenly his car resets and he escapes with almost no damage. Fail.
-At least the handling is easy, even with a keyboard. So easy in fact that you can take ANY turn at 200+ MPH (hairpin) and nail it perfectly every time. I know some ppl hate this because it really takes no skill at all.
-Almost all the cars feel identical too, aside from top speed. Oh, and the unskippable (really, when you skip them they do not skip) cutscenes and intros are really annoying... after I win a race and get 5 new unlocks it takes like 5 minutes to go thru them... thanks to all the unskippable animation BS.
Heres an example - i fuck up the start of the race 10 seconds in. Shit. OK restart! Hit restart. It reloads the entire thing for some reason, then puts me thru the 30s unskippable intro shit again. ARGGH! This isn't a big deal unless u retry a race 10 times.

-On the plus side, the music is good,  and the visuals are very nice.  Only graphical thing that is really lame is the nitrous... it looks slightly ridiculous, and comes out of your exhaust 90% of the race. Dont get me started on how when the guy in front of u uses it it looks like a spaceship, and the tail lights suddenly turn into red rocket looking things, even if he is going way slower than you lol
