if it is for a mediacenter.  you will need more of a video card than you think.  well that depends on what you will watch on it.  to watch my hd movies that i dl on mine i had to put my 8500gt in it.  my 6600oc would lag some of the movies if there was alot going on.  right now my mediacenter is asus p5ld2, celeron d(dont ask, had my 3.0 pentium d in there but sold to wifes mother for her work computer so i put the celeron in there.  acctually clocked it from a 2.91 to 3.84. lol), 80gig hd and a 250gb hd, zalman cooler, and 8500gt fatal1ty.

Manufacturer: Me Bitch!
Processor: Pentium Core i7 930@4.47Ghz
MB: Asus P6T Deluxe V2
Memory: 6GB Mushkin DDR3 10666
Hard Drive: 2 WD 500 Blues in Raid 0
Video Card: 2xAsus Radeon HD5770's CF
Monitor: 22" Samsung 223BW & 22" Dell as second
Mouse: Logitech MX Revoloution
Keyboard: Logitech G15
Operating System: Windows 7 x64

the mobo has the g45 chipset which has the new x4500hd (around the same as the radeon hd3200).. it can do 1080p fine with as little as a crappy sempron or celeron. yea it would be for media centre obviously, no gaming. although it would run cod2 half decent.

mine mc had a asus m2a-vm hdmi mobo......amd 64 x2 4000+, 2gb gkill ddr2 800, 320 wd sata hd.  It played hd movies flawlessly.  It had like a little card that enabled the hdmi.
