Well, I am a long time ATI user, just there's one goddamn bad point... I live in Middle Europe = We dont have the recent hardware in here . The best card you can get from ATI is the one I have ( Ati Radeon 4870HD 512mb ), there's no more recent one. By taking a look on mate's nVidia GT, thought the nvidia's a more powerful, but, you turnt that point out xD
If you don't try to save one life, you'll never save any!

do not get the 4870 unless u can afford 2
there is no point of having just one of it for wat 250 bucks?
sure its good but not worht the price
some say its the almost the same performance as 9800 GT maybe higher by a few fps... hold offf ur "computer noob" just for a sec cause im sure thats wat u wanna say rite now.  here is some advice wat u c on  the internet about gfx cards isnt always reliable ive actually tested a lot  of diff gfx cards and imo for the best price and performance ratio u should go for the GTX 260 which imo has better performance than 4870 and around the same price
