Listen, this is crazy, VISTA is better, hands down....

Resource hog? Whens the last time you installed it? When? I have it running on my wifes machine, amd 64 3000+ with 1 gig of ram, and like a 60 gig hd, 8400gs, and dremescene running. Take a wild guess of the resources being used.

Your guess= 50-100%

My FACTS= 9% cpu usage/ 45% ram (of only 1 GIG)

So please wheres the resource hog at?

regardless of resources.. what im sayin is... it costs $19.99 for 2gb ram 800mhz.... $100 for a 3.0 ghz dual core cpu..... times change.. same way that a windows 98 was a resource hog compared to 95....

MY old could not run it smoothly, even after 512mb upgrade ( it had 512, 512+512 = 1gb...). Therefore my resource hog.... Even without the sidebar and stuff

too bad I only found it in a forum.(the version I want). With the combined forces of bugmenot.com and google I found what I wanted.

Btw were do I put my profile in cod 4 ? I have it recorded in a dvd, but when  I copied it into the game folder
it said there was an error and reseted my status
