Same set of ground rules
« on: February 19, 2008, 03:22:06 AM »
Guys,

From what i've seen and read on the forum, the admins are not forcing the same set of groundrules, this would be better if they did.
Especcially the use of tubes in the first 15s or only the first 15s on S&D.

Also the ban for hackers, if ppl are skilled they can seem hackers through the eyes of a noob. Think you cant ban ppl just on the words of others, you need prove or seen it as an admin yourself.

Furthermore it seems that ppl are random banned (bug???), im not a whizzkid, but if a key is banned then a person with the same key cant logon right? If so then it makes no sense why ppl are banned after a few minutes, using that particular key.

just my 2cents and keep up the good work, the servers are great

I can say there is not an admin on the servers that would tube in 15 seconds on S&D.

I can also tell you that we would never ban anyone on the "words of another".  We have a set of rules that are in place.

I love playing S&D. When someone is thought to be hacking we have to take out the time to spectate them and /record  them hacking.

So if someone is banned or kicked, there is proof.

The "random ban" stuff is a Punkbuster issue. We cant do anything about it. We try and find the issue an advise people how to fix it.
(btw we ban based on IP not CD key)
