lol that is EXACTLY the article I was referring to.  at the bottom of the article:

"To sum things up, global warming hasn't been called off. In the meanwhile, western Greenlanders will have to accept that the cold weather continues for some time. At least until next Tuesday when milder weather could be on the way, according to Polarfronten online."

So, we're cooling but we might also still be warming?!  There's no concensus on the subject but there are those out there that drink the kool-aid by gallons and treat GW like a religion.

yea im not saying the earth hasnt warmed.. the consensus seems to be what.... 1 degree C in the last 100 years? whooopdidoo. ever heard of the ice age? pretty sure rasp and millions of others werent idling their car or doing anything to affect it then. the earth changes and goes through cycles. get over it

exactly. global warming is a steaming sack of shit. Yes, the earth is warming and the polar ice caps are melting. They did that after the last ice age, too. Anyone who knows science knows that orbits are not perfect, and each year, we either get closer or farther away from the sun. Yes, we are causing it to happen at a SLIGHTLY higher rate, but it will still top out at some point when most of the earth is underwater, just like it was before the last ice age, and then it will start getting cold again, and every futuristic society will be complaining about global cooling. humans have so little impact on the actual weather, global warming is just simply laughable.
