This is so weird. I live in tampa, 156 ping.
i do this test in connected to Alabama, i ping 50.
Does anyone know why this is?

like sometimes in cod4 i will ping 140 on east servers just random servers, then i change to a diff east and its fine.
routing maybe?

anyone know what it is or how to fix it?

you can change the location from where you want your test from, so if i where you i would search a location closer by....cus that ping aint correct

its not because the building is close to you that your ping will be low, if it f.ex. (in really worst case lol) first goes to new york and then to alabama, then you get high ping.
everything depends on what ur isp does. I know someone from jamaica who's ping is lowest in usa cuz his isp is connected with a straight cable with usa :)
