Any chance we could get the new maps uploaded somewhere so we can download full speed?

Last night ..... everytime a new map came on the server it would start downloading as it normally does except it would download at the massive speed of 50-60 Kb/s sometimes slower (I can normally download at 250+ Kb/s) ........ so everytime I finished downloading a new map the game for that map would be finished - it would be ok if the next game was a map I already had but when 2 new maps are one after the other I have to start downloading again and I end up missing 2 games. I spent most of last night downloading and not a lot of time playing! >:(

Anyone else find it very slow to download the new maps?

I have a speed of 400kb/s so that ain't so slow ...
It would be a good thing if smitty could upload them somewhere public so players can download them all at once and don't need to worry during gameplay ..

heartsfan, you're a regular member and you play alot, you'll get all the maps after a few days and you'll never need to worry about downloading again ...

damn, even today I am getting 60Kb/s ......... 260+ if I download something from elsewhere!!!

If you think you are getting slow speeds, mine is about 15kb/s, whilst on other server about 300kb/s

Is there no way to download the maps manually ?

back in the days, when i was stupid ... i used to write the names of the maps and look them up in google .. ::)

.....So I can download them outside the servers , since they are about 30 megs or something like that... I dont feel like waiting an hour for a map .

Or even better put a downloable map pack on rapidshare,megaupload or something...
