65 the limit on mine but if you can go 75 do it man! Makes a big difference!

60 wil be the max with any decent res on lcd.
maybe ill try hooking my pc up to my 120hz lcd tv and lock the fps at 120 ;)

85hz ------------------------------------------------------------------------- xp users: 1. go to "control panel" 2. Click on "display" 3. Click "settings" tab 4. Click "advanced" 5. Click "monitor" tab 6. Make sure that "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display" is checked. 7. 100 hz for me. and thats at 1600x1200
dont like LCD ...... they are shit ... especially if u do a lot of work on photos.
CRTs are still the dogs bollocks. Granted harder to get these days but I got myself a IBM 22" Refurbished for ?80 (about $140). Have yet to see anything LCD that comes close to the vibrant colours and picture quality. In my opinon it will take a few years before LCDs can match CRTs for anything apart from size wise.

Hearts, you need to know what you are looking for. Plasma technology comes in a couple of flavors, and some people start laughing when they see $600 for a 19" LCD... well, guess what.. a proper 22" LCD is $5,000 before taxes. And people wonder why the fck a 5x7 costs $15 when they can make one at K-mart for $0.15 ...

crt is usually going to be better than the average lcd for gaming.. lower refresh rate, higher hertz, better colour. but for the sake of a little loss, and a heck of a lot less clunky monitor, go lcd.
now the viewing angle and colour on my 2407WFP is awesome :D no gaming though :(

i used to play on 60hz but i see now that my monitor supports 75hz so i changed it to 75 and notice a big difference everything is moving faster ...

ya, I cant understand why i cant get mine to 75hz, my old 19" did and this one says it supports 80hz. So no idea, but i need 75, because i think thats my problem, or my hacks expired.
