Random disconnects (not a packet issue though)

Hi,

I'm on an intel-based Mac, and most of the time I can play NoBS maps for 10 minutes at a time until I'm suddenly disconnected from a game in progress, with the error message saying "FS_handleforfile = none free".

I've tried deleting all mods and downloading them again..it didn't help. I only play on NoBS and FandS though so there's not many mods on my system anyway. I've also tried connecting directly to the server rather than through Gameranger.

Any ideas what might be causing this? It only occurs on this server so although I think it might be a Mac thing, it could be a mac/server thing.

do you have any files in your mods folders that are 0 bytes?

in mod folder? i'm really new to this... is it the nobs folder that is in my folder called COD2 data?

really none of us can help sorry no one here owns a mac... frankly, they suck. but thats a whole nother story. probably better off going to a mac forum
