Suddenly got a problem with CoD2

I was playing on CoD2 (Carentanville) and got a connection lost ...... disconnected and can't get back in ..... ping ok in Xfire & HLSW and I can see the players in these apps but when I connect I just get Awaiting Connection. And then nothing ..... it just keeps counting up and doesn't connect!

Any ideas?

Sorry to hear that heartsfan,I've had the same problem about a week ago, I think the problem is within the map files,my problem started when my cod2 crashed one day, then I couldn't join the server unless there's new map up,I end up reinstall the game.

Thanks Gren but .... all is well now, don't know what happened just rebooted and it worked ..... although about 30mins before it happened I updated PB .... maybe that had something to do with it.
