Hello.  My game name is crazyeyeskilla from the 5150 clan.  I play often on your server, but was banned today for something to do with no smoke hack (that is what I remember being typed by console), i didn't get a change to see what exactly was typed so I am not 100% sure.  Anyway, I want to say 2 things, one is that I don't hack...  which is  what everyone says, but I am a founder of 5150 clan, and an admin of our servers and don't and have never used any type of cheat.  Two, I am no computer whiz, but I went into my program files and copied my config file and am posting it here.  If there is anything that I need to change to play on your server, tell me and I will change it.    I have lots of fun on your server and don't want to lose the privilege of playing on it.

Also, my score was kick butt on the map when I got kicked, but I have capped the flag several times and it was not like I was going crazy killing people.  One thing that I will say is that there was one time where a kill I had was questionable looking.  To describe it, there was a guy by where our flag goes and he fired at another guy in front of me and I fired into the smoke and killed him.  As an admin, I probably would have thought that was questionable, but there was no more to it than a blind spray into smoke with a tommy.  Other than that instance, I don't recall anything else that would be considered luck or questionable.  I play on a 6 year old computer with a video card limited by the speed of my system giving me a maximum fps of 150 , and a 19" crappy monitor, but I got fios internet which helps me.  So I can't believe anyone would think I was a cheater and would like for the admin that banned me to discuss it with me.  If it was because of my score being highest on my team, then they need to look at who captured the flag most of the time.

Finally, I also type in console 2 more commands everytime I get on a server.  I type  /com_maxfps 333, and /cl_maxpackets 100 as it seems to help my get my fps up.

If any of these are considered outside of the rules, please let me know.  I would like to continue playing on your server in the future, so I appreciate the consideration.  Thanks.

Well, I was the one that banned you.

The shot through smoke looked like a blatent smoke hack to me. I also specced you a few times in the past, as well as watched killcams as you seemingly stare at a wall before you walk around it, already aiming at exactly who you're gonna shoot. Either you're really good or have wallhacks.

The demo I got was not that great, and didn't have any obvious wallhacking, unfortunately.

Normally, the true hackers don't come on here, and go through all this trouble to get unbanned. I don't ban based on highest score, trust me. I ban based on what I see when I look at someone. I saw hacks, I banned. A demo is required, but it always seems like everytime I record someone, they toggle.

I'm not saying I'll unban you, though I do feel obligated to. Give us a couple days to talk it over. Assuming no one sees anything on the demo and claims for you to be unbanned, you should be back and playing by the weekend. We'll see how it goes, though.

I appreciate your response to my post.  As I said earlier, I have adminned and I know it is difficult to determine if someone is hacking or not when it is not some kind of aim type.  I also know a demo is tough to get, and I saw you guys discussing something that sounded like admin talk, but wouldn't have dream't it was me you were talking about in a million years.  If you are friends with any of the 5150 clan, I ask you to inquire about my character to them if you feel it can be trusted.  I will say that I play pretty smart, but I have to cause I am older and my computer sucks so I am pretty sneaky.  I will check back to see what you decided.  Thanks for the consideration.

Don't worry man, after watching the demo a few more times, I can see how you were able to guess through the smoke. Otherwise, you're shady, and I'll keep my eye on you, but for now, I will unban you. I will edit this post when I have.

That's odd. I unbanned your ip from the server and updated the ban file, so I have no idea why you still can't get in...

I'll try to see if anyone else can help out.

Well, then I have no idea.

I went into the pbbans file itself and deleted his IP from it altogether, rather than just unbanning his slot in HLSW. It should work.
